JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is responsible for
• Perform technical leadership role, and will be responsible for overseeing functional and regression testing
• Re-evaluate existing testing methods and automation framework, drive new software testing methods and testing tools
• Review, recommend, and implement process improvement techniques to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
• Drive test innovation, drive new software testing methods and testing tools
• Lead and mentor team members, providing first hand performance review feedback to the manager of the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field;
• 5+ years software development or test experience, preferably leading a test or tools team
• Very good knowledge in HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax;
• Strong hands-on experience in testing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.
• Solid knowledge and experience in Python, Ruby or other scripting language
• Solid DB/SQL experience, MySQL preferred
• Extensive hands-on experience in devising test methods and automation framework design and implementation;
• Experience with defining system level testing strategy for a large/complex system
• Experience in test automation including Web based UI testing, test driven design, continuous delivery, agile testing/development
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
