Uber is looking for an experienced quality assurance person to take responsibility for Uber quality in China on iOS, Android and web apps. You will be triaging bug reports, performing tests, and expanding the use of automation in support of new features that will surprise and delight our users. Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs found via debugging and performance analysis tools.
Key Qualifications:
• Knowledgeable in Programming languages
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and processes
• Experience with mobile applications
• Experience with web applications
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with mobile and web applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Description:
Will be working on Uber iOS and Android rider and driver apps and web application. The Uber China team is responsible for everything from the Uber user mobile experience to web experience.
This role will lead the quality assurance efforts of Uber China using internal tools and automated systems. The candidate must be able to work closely with other QA and software engineers to drive resolution of issues. The environment is fast paced, and the projects evolve quickly. The candidate must be detail oriented, agile, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have experience in building complex automated systems and in building or working with continuous integration systems and would be able to gather and distill a large set of results into meaningful reports and graphs, including tailoring these reports to different audiences
Screen and triage bug reports.
Perform pre-release testing.
Verify the correctness and performance of software
Build automated testing system for high-performance and Internet scale services
Build systems to do validation, performance, and unit testing
Participate in verification releases
Contribute to the quality strategy of the products
Work closely with multiple engineering teams to define requirements
